Naturalist vs. Nudest

A question that has been posed the the brain trust at Buffet Beach is,  Naturalist vs. Nudest what’s the difference ? Well, being that the beach is always a great place for minimal or no textiles, is question is one we were happy to answer. In the early, heady days of the flower, power drugged out hippy days of the sixties, lots of people decided that cloths were bad and our bodies were beautiful. As with any idealistic, beautiful and trans-formative movement, it soon broke into two feuding camps. Maybe not a violet feud but the lines were drawn. On one side the nudists, who generally wanted to be naked all the time. They lived in there own communities, shopped, went to church and out to dinner in the buff. The movement was popular but never really hit the level of acceptance to become mainstream. On the other side were the Naturalists. These were the people who, loving the joys of getting back to nature, felt that being naked is the best way to commune with mother nature. The primary difference that used to separate these intrepid adventurers, from there communal based brethren is they really had no desire to go home and be naked. As time and movements moved on, the differences started to become blurred. People really stopped caring and the two terms, over the years started to blend into the same meaning.

Naturalist vs. Nudest what’s the difference

As to the world of Buffet Beach, we are all about the sights and feeling of being naked on a tropical beach. Some of the very best places we have ever been to are beaches where people are allowed to sun themselves and run around free from the encumbrances of clothing. Some of our favs that you should check out to see a bunch of nudists and naturalists are….

Haulover Beach Sate Park, located just north of Miami, Haulover Beach has great facilities and is just a great place to visit.

Grand Saline Beach, St. Barts, almost the opposite of Haulover as far as convenience and amenities this quite, beautiful beach is worth the trip.

The Outer Banks N.C. , While it is, i guess, not strictly legal, we know for a fact that there are long swathes of desolate beach that are perfect to work on your all over tan.
