Snorkeling St. Kitts

The beautiful island of St. Kitts has some of the most dive friendly water in the Caribbean. Unless you have a pretty large line of credit, you may suffer from a little bit of sticker shock to try to stay there. If you are a budget minded traveler you can still enjoy this captivating island and snorkeling St. Kitts. The beaches are stunning, with soft and and perfect water for swimming. We can recommend Cockleshell Beach, From the up tempo and party atmosphere crowds of the Reggae Beach Club to the other end of the spectrum and beach at the Spice Mill bar. The waters off St. Kitts are teeming with a large variety of marine live. We are always impressed by the number of top notch snorkeling locals in St. Kitts.

From the slightly rougher waters on the Atlantic side of the island to the calmer Caribbean side you can have your choice of sights to see. Booby Shoals, White House Bay and Nags Head(not to be confused with the Outer Banks of North Carolina) all are awash with tropical fish, turtles and Lobsters along with miles of thriving coral reefs and one of the best places to start snorkeling St. Kitts. Pinney’s Beach and Frigate Bay are also on the must swim lists of St.Kitts. Like the above beaches, a plethora of tropical fish and vivid reefs will amaze snorkelers of all experience level. If we had to pick one outing off the shores of St. Kitts, it would be difficult but we all agreed that Monkey Shoals is just about perfect. With Chrystal
