Here you will find a snug little area between the beach and the reef so get there early, before it gets crowded. The once you set your hook the previously mentioned reef is a real joy for both scuba and snorkeling adventures. Cam Bay is very quite and secluded so peaceful relaxation can be had in spades. If you are desirous of a little company Marina Cay is only a short dingy trip away.
Jost Van Dyke
One of the best Caribbean anchorages is one of the BVI’s larger islands, the world famous Jost Van Dyke. One of Jost Van Dykes lesser famous spots on it’s eastern side is call Manchioneel Bay. It is here where you can find Sandy Spit and Green Cay.several really supper anchorages can be found in this area and you will absolutely love the miles of vivid white sand beaches. The area of Manchioneel Bay is some of the very best snorkeling in the Caribbean. Some of the BVI’s better party spots are not to far away. We highly commend an excursion to Foxy’s and of course the world famous Soggy Dollar, one of our favorite beach bars.

There are many offshore areas in the BVIs and the Entire Caribbean for that matter that are off limits to prevent boater’s anchors from destroying the coral reefs. So before you decide to go rogue and just throw out the anchor anywhere, make sure you are not in a protected area, the fines can be pretty huge.
