Outer Banks Nude Beaches
The Outer Banks of North Carolina and thus Outer Banks Nude Beaches are the line of sand that separates the mainland of North Carolina from the
ocean. This beautiful stretch of dunes and natural beach beauty has grow over the years into one of the east coast’s top vacation
destinations. The number of small towns along this long ribbon of sand reads like a summer vacation who’s who for East Coast
beach goers. From Corolla to Ocracoke and all the small beach communities in between, the number of renal properties seems to
never end.
This past summer was only the third time I had been able to do a true Saturday to Saturday stay in the Outer Banks. The wife
and I had booked a nice rental home with two other couples for the week. We were about half the way through the week when
the wife and I both got a little restless. We have been to several Caribbean beaches, where clothing regulations are, shall we
say, much less restrictive, so we goggled clothing optional beaches in the outer Banks. We found … well, mostly contradictory
information on where you can but you “may get a ticket”(not an option) or no problem, our club meets every third Tuesday. We
just wanted to spend an afternoon alone, together. We decided to go out the next day on an adventure… and try not to get
arrested. After a little drive we crossed over the Oregon Inlet bridge and into the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge. After a mile
or two we decided that we needed to pull off the road and check out the beach. The road is just a two lane deal and the
shoulders are mostly just deep soft sand, so we had to be careful to find a place we wouldn’t get stuck. Once parked, we walked
over the fifteen foot high natural dunes to find the most beautiful deserted beach. We were alone as far as we could see in both
directions. We set out our blankets and got settled. It only took the wife about five minutes to feel comfortable enough to go
topless. After about twenty minutes we both were getting hot so we got up to jump in the ocean. Still not haven seen a soul, we
both thought nothing of stripping down to our birthday suites and going for a swim. to make a long and fun filled story short, we
spent the next three or four hours, playing, swimming, eating and napping in all our glory. When it was finally time to go back to
the rental property, we reluctantly got dress and packed up. We weren’t sure if finding a place that was both beautiful and
secluded was random luck or more the norm, but that afternoon frolicking on Pea Island and Outer Banks Nude Beaches were the highlight of our
week on the Outer Banks.
